CSC’s Hamilton/Niagara Chapter is hosting a luncheon meeting that explores the world of architectural louvres.
On Thursday, February 19, Building Resource Incorporated’s Michael J. Pace, CET, BSSO, a representative for Ten Plus, will discuss how sunshades, vision screens, and other louvres can serve as functional elements of the building cladding. He will delve into materials used to construct these elements, along with metals, coatings, product selection criteria, esthetics, and attachment methods.
The talk, along with lunch, takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Rd.), in Burlington, Ont. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation ending by 2 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door. (ATM onsite or cheques payable to CSC Hamilton/Niagara Chapter.)
The event qualifies for Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) points.
