The Edmonton Chapter of CSC is hosting a breakfast discussion on insulation for piping, ductwork, and equipment, exploring its connection to energy-efficient design.
The presentation is hosted by CSC member Steve Clayman, director of energy initiatives with Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC). He will examine how correctly specified and installed mechanical insulation impacts energy conservation, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and health and safety issues. Clayman will also speak about low- (or no-) cost approaches to determining when insulation on mechanical systems requires attention, along with personnel protection, condensation control, mould growth, and now software tools.
The event will be held at the Château Louis Conference Centre on Tuesday, October 14 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Registration includes breakfast.
