The Regina Chapter will be presenting on “Low-carbon Energy Systems and Strategies in Saskatchewan and Western Canada” on Thursday, April 22, at 12 p.m.
There is a significant interest and momentum throughout Canada to take action on climate change by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Much of this is focused on the contribution of buildings. Recent years have shown a growing uptake across sectors ranging from private development to government policy and funding. While technologies continue to evolve and mature, there are proven strategies and systems available today that be implemented on both new and existing buildings. Ruben Arellano, P.Eng., district energy specialist at Associated Engineering, will be discussing this and more at the event.
