On September 13, the Vancouver Chapter will hold a lunch and learn session on “Concrete 101” at Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre. Nicholas Cifelli, P.Eng., of Lehigh Hanson Materials will be doing a presentation.
This lunch meeting aims to help architects and specifiers understand how to get the most out of concrete, including how each part of the supply chain must work together to ensure a happy client.
The session will cover new and improved concrete products, as well as common non-specified concrete products and technical tips for architects and specification writers. The means to achieve high quality architectural concrete finishes will also be covered in the presentation.
For more information, contact Vince Smith. Only 45 participants are allowed, so sign up by September 12. To register, click here.
