On Friday, February 9, the Calgary Chapter of CSC will host its annual Awards Gala for the Ignite Student Competition. Held at the showroom of Contemporary Office Interiors, the event will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The competition is a CSC initiative to expose upcoming professionals in the industry to a mock project for a real client. Architectural technologies and interior design students from Mount Royal University and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) developed their submissions—with a focus was on the importance of quality documents—with the help of multiple industry representatives and the client.
The contest was a fast-paced weekend affair, running from 5 p.m. on Friday, January 19, to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 21.
A variety of prizes will be awarded based on input from industry mentors and judges. Click here to register.
