The 12th annual Interior Design Show (IDS) will take place Sept. 22 to 25 at the Vancouver Convention Centre’s West Building.

IDS Vancouver is the West Coast version of IDS Toronto. Last year, more than 36,000 people attended, including interior designers, architects, product specifiers, builders/developers, and hotel owners.

Along with hundreds of exhibitors, attendees can register for speaking sessions, including:

  • Yukio Hashimoto, who will share his experience as a contemporary and prolific architect and interior designer in Asia;
  • Carrie Strickland (Works Partnership Architecture), James Cheng (James K.M. Cheng Architects), and Darryl Condon (HCMA Architecture and Design), who will go head to head discussing today’s leading industry issues; and
  • Chris McVoy (Steven Holl Architects), who will discuss topics such as idea-driven approaches to design and the dangers of generic architecture.
