Toronto Chapter presents low-e glass talk

On September 15, CSC’s Toronto Chapter is hosting a dinner meeting that includes a talk by PPG Canada’s Chuck Craig on low-emissivity glass from performance and cost analysis perspectives.

The discussion will explore solar energy and glazing performance, along with the low-e coating’s manufacturing process and how to model the eventual energy impacts. The event will be held at the Toronto Skating, Curling, and Cricket Club. It kicks off at 5:15 p.m. with cocktails, leading into the annual chapter meeting, dinner, and the final presentation. Admission is $50 for members and $55 for non-members. It goes up to $60 at the door, so registration is recommended.

In other Toronto news, the chapter is offering the Principles of Construction Documentation (PCD) course as of September 14, led by Ted Katsoris, CCCA. The Specification Writing 1 course begins September 16, taught by Tim Lee, RSW.
