Toronto-based space and object designer, Simone Ferkul, owner of Simone Ferkul Projects, has reimagined a studio in the East End for ATTIC, a local ethical fine jewellery company.

The minimalist palette is textured yet refined, serving as a backdrop to the jewellery displayed within. Key features include a custom jewellery bar made of Ceppo Antico, a distinctive marble that complements the pieces it showcases, and geometric walnut stools designed by Ferkul and crafted by Hamilton-based Tetome House, creating a comfortable setting for design consultations.

The ambiance is further enhanced by custom-stained white oak veneer millwork, suspended linear modular lighting, and an assortment of vintage and locally sourced accessories.

The redesign caters to the company’s expanding team, growing clientele, and the evolution of its design processes. Co-founders Melissa Gobeil and Susan Shaw sought a space that not only served functional needs but also mirrored the studio’s commitment to ethical practices and craftsmanship.
