$800-million office tower going up in Toronto

Cadillac Fairview (CF), in conjunction with the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), has announced construction of a new, 46-storey office tower in downtown Toronto. The development features 111,484 m2 (1.2-million sf) of office space, 339 parking stalls, and 1142 m2 (12,290 sf) of retail space, and is slated to open in the fall of 2022.
Designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, in collaboration with B+H Architects as the architect of record, the building is designed to achieve platinum certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating program and WELL standard.
Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan will be the inaugural client.
